It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I pass on the news that Rookie, Carolyn Scott's phenomenal Golden has crossed to the bridge at the age of 15. If you ever wanted to see the epitome of what dog training can bring you in terms of relationship, you just have to watch Carolyn and Rookie working together.

When I did a clinic with Carolyn a ways back she stressed two things over and over and over and over. Attitude and attention. Rookie sure had them both.

I never tired of watching their Grease routine, and I am always shocked to learn that many of my clients have no idea who Carolyn and Rookie are. Rookie and Carolyn single handedly did more to promote Canine Musical Freestyle than any other team and Carolyn performed with him numerous times on national TV.

This Grease clip just may be the most popular dog clip on all of You Tube. The love and bond between is so strong, it makes me cry every time and more so today.

Rock on Rookie.

Me--- I am heading out in my yard right now to crank my boom box and have a quick dance with Charlee in Rookie's honor.

May you dance the time away at the Bridge, Rookie, waiting for Carolyn. You and she were such an inspiration to us all, and the epitome of Teamwork!
