Dog food and rabies vaccine recall
Simmons dog food, most commonly sold by Walmart as Ol' Roy, is being recalled for "flaking",
and
Fort Dodge is recalling 330,000 doses of it's rabies vaccine, after a dog in Kansas got rabies after being vaccinated.

per an article I got from one of your readers, I made an attempt to check the rabies vac. informaiton on my dog's records. I should call the vet to find out for certain what she was given, because the information that is supposed to be filled out on the rabies vac. certificate is blank- all of it. There's a slot for vaccine brand, number, date, etc...and all of it is missing. As so it is on every certificate (our state requires yearly vaccinations, our vets give the 3-year shot, though). The date she was vaccinated is on the certificate and the invoice of services provided states "Rabvac3" followed by either "virus kill" or "killed vaccination", and that's it. Nothing else. No number. Nothing.
