Note-Playing with and chewing sticks can be very dangerous for your dogs. I allowed the stick play for pictures only and then redirected all the dogs to safer toys.

Nancy,
I never knew that sticks were hazardous to dogs. Could you tell me how so? Gee when I think of a happy dogs, I think of one that has a stick in its mouth, wagging his tail, "saying" throw it for me, again, and again, and again.
