Three leashes solved the problem of which one of my kids would get to hold Finney for the parade!

Scooter loved the biscuits, but still wanted peanuts and crackerjacks.

Finn loved bobbing for hot-dogs on the way out.

Lots of hard work went into the planning and running Bark in the Park. Great job everyone!
I did over hear planning for the "next time".
See you there!

So how can I find out about these events before they happen rather than reading about it after? I need to get on the list or something!

Nancy replies-
Planet dog has a mailing list. I have email alerts here on this blog to , and I did blog it when tix went on sale. I try very hard to keep people informed on fun doggie events.

Jessie,
Another way to find out about dog events happening in Maine is to pick up a copy of Downeast Dog News and check their calendar. To find out where you can pick up a paper, or to check the online calendar, go to www.downeastdognews.com

And, if anyone knows about dog events that aren't on the calendar, please let me know!
