As good as it looks?

Google direct marketed me this morning and sent me the info on the Trackstik II, a personal GPS device. I am soooooo very tired of getting lost trying to find the homes of my private clients, but at the same time, I am not quite ready to dish out $350 bucks for a GPS. At $179.00 bucks, I am very tempted!
Is this product as good as it looks?
Thank you,
Nancy

I don't think the Trackstick is what you're looking for if you want to input directions/coordinates to find a specific location.

This is more of a 'tracker' than it is a 'finder' and gives you the ability to make your own trails/paths on a map from places you've already been.

Plus, it's tricky to rely on anything hand held in the car while you're driving (the view screens are small on hand-helds). The more expensive units that mount in your car are larger screens and have street base maps and that's part of what you're paying for - the map - when you buy that kind of unit.

Which is really what you want for what you're suggesting.

Sorry to be the spoil-sport...

Thanks...I was thinking it wouldn't have the english accent either :))))
